After registering in the app, you will gain access to our partner database of restaurants where you can use reusable packaging. Thanks to the app, by clicking on the middle button, you can easily rent a pack by showing your individual QR code, in addition, you gain access to self-service pack rental – just scan the pack, hand it to the staff and you can enjoy your meal in a durable Swapp! Returning the packs works very similarly to lending, you can do it yourself or with the support of a member of staff at the restaurant by scanning the pack and the restaurant code, you will then receive a confirmation from the restaurant. You can check all your packaging actions in My Packages, you don’t have to wonder by when you should return the packaging, you can check it in the app at any time.
In the Swapp! app, you will find our partners where you can use reusable packaging. When placing your order, let them know that you would like to use Swapp! packaging when serving your food or drink. When you place your order, the partner restaurant will scan your individual QR code, which can be found under the middle button of the app, or you can scan the packaging yourself by selecting the Rental option. For online or telephone orders, send your Swapp! code as a string to the partner during the ordering process or give it over the phone. Whichever path you choose, the process will end with the pack being assigned to your account.
With a personalised QR code, you can order food in Swapp! packs via the partner’s website or food delivery apps. Copy your code in the form of a string and give it to the Partner in the comments at the end of your order. You can also dictate it over the phone. This allows the partner restaurant to link the package to your account and issue it to the driver. You can find your individual code by clicking on the middle button and selecting My Code. The code is valid for one use and, for security reasons, changes every 24 hours
With a personalised QR code, you can order food in Swapp! packs over the phone or on site at the restaurant. When ordering on site, show the QR code, which will be scanned by the service person, or use the flow of the self-serve pack rental. Once your code and the code on the pack have been scanned, it will be assigned to your account.
For telephone orders, dictate your code to the service person in the form of a string when ordering by phone. This allows the partner restaurant to link the pack to your account and issue it to the driver. Your individual code can be found by clicking on the middle button and selecting My Code. The code is valid for one use and changes every 24 hours for security reasons.
Swapp! packages can be returned to partner restaurants that you find in the app – you can search for a partner or find one on a map in your area.
The Swapp! app is completely free, our business is based on small commissions charged to restaurateurs each time they fill their packaging. But don’t worry, our solution saves them money because the cost of disposable packaging is usually higher than our refill fee, plus it reduces their costs for handling and producing inorganic waste. With us, everyone benefits.
You will return the packaging correctly to one of our Partners, who you can find in the app. We ask our users to rinse out the packaging before returning it to circulation, this saves our Partners time. In addition, the returned pack must be complete, i.e. it must contain the cover and it must not be damaged. Once the packaging has been returned, the partner scans it and assigns it to his account by scanning the QR code. At some locations, you can also return the packaging yourself by finding and scanning the Swapp! container code at the Partner’s location and the packaging code and drop the packaging into the container. The packaging will then wait for a restaurant employee to confirm the return.
Our Partners are required by contract to wash all packs in an industrial dishwasher before reuse in order to keep our packs hygienic and clean. When handling packaging, the same rules apply as when washing dishes for restaurant consumption.
You have 5 days from the time of rental to return the packs.
If the packaging is not returned to our partners within 5 days, customers are automatically charged 50PLN for food packaging and 10PLN for a reusable cup. After the charge, the packaging becomes your property.
Yes, it is necessary to add a payment card to the app, this is the only security feature of the packages for us, we do not collect any other sensitive information from our users. Standard use of the packs in accordance with the terms and conditions does not incur a charge. You can add your card conveniently using Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Package rental always lasts for 5 days.
We inform users of the return date at the time of rental, or you can check the return date at any time in the My Packages section of the mobile app. In addition, the app will send a push notification when a package is about to be returned.
Our packs are dishwasher-safe and can be washed in any standard domestic dishwasher, as well as in industrial dishwashers at very high temperatures.
Packaging can be used from 400 to as many as 800 times if used correctly. The greatest impact on the wear and tear of our packs comes from using them correctly, not from washing them. We ask our users to use the cutlery inside the packaging gently in order to ensure that the packaging lasts as long as possible. When the packaging is no longer suitable for prolonged use it goes for recycling. Our packaging is remelted into further products, thus ensuring circulation and avoiding the creation of waste that is difficult to dispose of. Due to current legislation, new food containers cannot be manufactured from used packaging.
Please return them to your partner noting the situation, he will return the packaging to us and we will take care of the repair.
