Our story

Reduce, Refill & Reuse – these are our core goals. We help people care for the Earth by reducing the amount of disposable plastic packaging.

MISSION

Choose the product, not the packaging

By creating a refilling-based circular ecosystem and product sales channel, we help people and businesses protect the Earth and the future generations from excess and avoidable plastic waste.

Szymon, Sargheve, Andrzej

We want to support this little revolution. The problem is big, but who, if not you and me, will solve it. Single-use plastic packaging is a huge concern for our generation. We are not enemies of plastic. However, we do not agree to blind consumption which results in littering the world. We don’t want to wonder how much plastic is in the air we breathe and how much is in the water we drink. One of the ways that will reduce the consumption of disposable packaging is the sale of products in reusable packaging. This is our goal. The three of us made Swapp! but we are just the initiators. We believe that Swappers will become a large community in the near future and swapping, will be a natural shopping path. Join us.

Why are we doing this?

Often people throw away empty household chemicals, cosmetics packaging or takeaway meals, and get upset when it ends up in unintended places through ways they have no control of. Will these bottles flow into the ocean with tons of other mixed waste? Unfortunately, the chances are very high, especially when we look at the current recycling figures.

Next time, you have to buy a fmcg product, Swapp! offers the possibility to buy it in a reusable bottle and refill in the Swapp machine! Just four simple steps to personally reduce the amount of plastic usage. And it is need of the hour, let the following figures prove it.

Some information about plastic

We present basic data on plastic and its recycling

According to the data available on the website of the European Parliament, 322 million tonnes of plastic waste was produced in the world in 2015. For comparison, in 1950 it was 1.5 million tonnes.

According to the report, around 40% of all plastics are packaging, 22% are consumer goods and household goods, and 20% are construction. Cars (9%), electronic equipments (6%) and agriculture (3%) follow.

30% of all plastic waste generated is collected for recycling, the level of which varies from country to country

Only half of the plastic waste is processed in Europe. A huge amount of waste had been shipped outside the EU in the past, primarily to China.
